It all began in November 1983 when Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird drew a nunchuck-wielding ninja turtle.
Over the next 35 years, a roster of the world’s greatest comic book artists, animators, animatronic puppeteers, toy designers, artists and film directors would take their turn mutating the Turtles for each new generation.
We were tasked with taking the turtles into a more sophisticated, adult-orientated space. We took the wealth of visual riches at our disposal and used them to create new assets and product ideas that harness turtle power.
