Welcome to Hawkins
Working with fan-favourite illustrator Kyle Lambert, known for his iconic Stranger Things artwork, we were commissioned by Royal Mail to design a set of Special Stamps and a miniature sheet celebrating the globally acclaimed Netflix series.
The set of stamps captures key characters and moments from all five seasons and uses a bold colour split, red for The Rightside Up and blue for The Upside Down, to distinguish the two worlds.
The accompanying miniature sheet depicts Lucas, Will, Mike and Dustin racing through Hawkins on their iconic 1980s bikes, silhouetted against the looming threat of the Mind Flayer. Ultraviolet-activated features, including the Hellfire Club emblem on the stamps and the boys’ bike lights on the miniature sheet, are hidden throughout the designs, adding an extra layer of discovery for fans and collectors.
We also designed a wide range of collectible products including presentation packs, medal covers, first day covers, collectors sheets and a Prestige Stamp Book.
The Limited Edition Prestige Stamp Book is presented inside a bespoke VHS video case, a nostalgia-packed tribute to 1980s technology and culture. It features an interchangeable sleeve that can be reversed between “The Rightside Up” and “The Upside Down”. The cover art mimics a VHS cassette and its 24 pages include highlights and imagery spanning all five seasons of the show. The first half explores The Rightside Up, and by flipping the book, the reader is taken on a journey into The Upside Down.
