Super stamps
We were commissioned by Royal Mail to design a set of Special Stamps, a miniature sheet and collectibles honouring the original caped crusader: Batman.
Working alongside the incredible DC artist Jim Cheung, the main set of 12 stamps celebrate Batman, his friends and foes, while also including Gotham as the omnipresent 13th character, forming the glue that holds the set together. A subtle selection of Easter eggs flows through each stamp, from hidden UV layers to hidden imagery, giving die-hard fans plenty to discover. Batman also features on the accompanying miniature sheet – a dynamic composition of the Justice League, a team-up of DC superheroes.
As well as the stamps, we designed a huge range of collectibles including presentation packs, prestige stamp books, Royal Mint medal covers, first day covers etc.
