Cardboard Citizens is the UK’s only homeless people’s professional theatre company. Their productions tell untold stories of displaced people, with a voice that demands to be heard.
We split the annual review into three books – ‘Stories’ covering their productions, ‘Figures’ showcasing company statistics and financials, and ‘Facts’ which looks at their year. The books have a life of their own but are bound together by a band covering the mouths of members – six portraits over the three book covers. Breaking the band gives the members a voice and allows the stories to be told.
